ShiftGrit’s own clinicians work in Calgary and Edmonton. This is not a directory of every therapist in Alberta. You can meet in person at our Calgary or Edmonton clinic, or virtually.
Below is our clinician roster for Calgary and Edmonton. Each clinician shows their designation, the registrations they hold, their city, whether they meet clients in person or virtually, the languages they work in, their fee, and the insurers we can submit a claim to for them at your appointment. Where a clinician’s session fee cannot be submitted to a plan, their entry says so. Read through them, then talk to our team and we will go through what you are looking for.

When you can be seen
Both clinics are open into the evening, to 9:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and our Edmonton clinic is also open on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. These are the hours the clinic is open, not one clinician’s schedule. Each clinician keeps their own hours inside them.

Every insurer below has at least one of our clinicians we can submit a claim to. How much of the team that is varies a great deal, so the list is grouped by it. Seeing your insurer here does not mean your plan pays for therapy, and it does not mean a claim will be approved.

Who can submit is not the same in both cities. The clinicians we can submit to your insurer for may all be in Calgary, all in Edmonton, or spread across both. Each clinician’s entry below says which.
If your insurer is not listed, call us before you book. For some we need to confirm the route first. For others there is no route we can set up, and you would pay and send the receipt in yourself.
Being on this list does not tell you what your plan pays. Two people holding the same insurer card can have different plans. Ask your plan two questions about the clinician you are considering, using the designation shown on their entry below: does my policy cover services personally delivered by someone with that designation? Can that provider submit electronically and receive assigned payment?

Questions people ask
What does it cost?
Each clinician has their own fee, and you see that clinician’s fee before you book. The fee shown is the fee for the exact appointment the booking link opens, and our booking system shows it again before you pay.
Will my insurance cover it?
It takes about thirty seconds to get a definite answer from your plan. Ask them, naming the designation shown on that clinician’s entry: does my policy cover services personally delivered by someone with that designation? Can that provider submit electronically and receive assigned payment?
How is payment handled, and what if I cancel?
If you are new to us, a first appointment booked online is paid in full at checkout. If you have been here before, your card is saved and nothing is charged then. You see the fee, and the cancellation policy, before you are handed to the booking system. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full session fee applies.
What if I need an assessment, or I am not in Alberta?
ADHD and psychoeducational assessments are arranged on a call. An assessment is a series of appointments, and the total depends on how many testing hours and how much report time are needed, so we give you the whole cost on the call before anything is booked. If you are outside Alberta, talk to our team and we will go through what we can offer you.
