ADHD Assessments in Edmonton
About this service
An ADHD assessment isn’t a single test or a one-hour conversation. Edmonton clients come to ShiftGrit when they need a structured diagnostic answer — for medication consultation, school accommodation, workplace support, or simply to understand a pattern that’s been costing them for years.
Our 124 Street studio (downstairs and upstairs levels) houses the registered psychologists who conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments for children, youth, and adults across the Edmonton area. The process includes a detailed clinical interview, DSM-aligned rating scales (self-report + observer-report), targeted cognitive testing focused on attention, executive function, and working memory, and developmental history review. Adult assessments include occupational and academic patterns; youth assessments include observer input from parents and teachers with consent.
The final report provides a clear diagnostic conclusion, supporting evidence, and tailored recommendations — accepted by Alberta physicians for medication consultation, by employers for accommodation requests, and by post-secondary institutions for formal academic accommodations.
